An era has sadly come to an end. Welding Nhlongo, NOSA’s project manager, passed away suddenly on Sunday 9 February after a heart attack.
It would not have been possible to build and run NOSA without his amazing efforts.
He was always very positive, in both the ups and downs, and always in a good mood.
His motto was “we always strive to fulfill our promises and change the poor”.
We remember all our wonderful trips to Justicia with Welding over the past 16 years.
He will be deeply missed.

On February 13th, a memorial service for Welding was held at the church in Justicia, organized by Pastor Joseph. Among others, Andy and Lindiwe spoke on behalf of “the former NOSA children.

The funeral took place in Mkhuhlu Saturday 15th of February.

Graduation

In december 2019 we returned to South Africa for Mishack’s Eco Training graduation.  After the holidays he will apply for a job as a professional Field Guide. We are very proud of him, and look forward to see what the future holds for him.
