Melanie and Espen come with us, and with help from Welding they had bought a jungle swing for each of the two pre-schools,
Happy Home and Ntshuxekani. They were in use by a lot of excited children as soon as Melanie had cut the ribbon.
We were very happy when the church, Babati primary school and Ntshuxekani pre-school all showed us their vegetable gardens and we see that the water we bored for has helped a lot.
Lindiwe and Scelo, the two of “our” ten children who impressed the most at school this semester, joined us on a shopping trip to the nearby city, Hazyview, were we bought food and drinks for the football match and party at the church.
Unfortunately, after several warnings, Sammy is still not interested in attending school or doing any homework.
It was sad to tell his grandmother that due to his lack of interest we no longer are able to help him.
We therefore have a new boy from Babati primary school called Andy Mkhubela, born 28.12.1999.
No wonder the children have problems reading, there isn’t a single book for them to practice reading in Justicia.
Together with the staff at the Mketse primary School we plan to build a small library for the school’s students.
